Hey everybody!  So excited to see you all soon.  :)

comment by Stephan Scappaticci

Hey guys! This would be my first "official" communication with the class of 89, as I was a no-show to both reunions. How lame is that, right?!  I'm very curious to see if anyone sees and/or responds to this. The last post on this site was in 2012.  Looking at all the pictures and watching the videos really just gives me a lot of great memories of a lot of great people!  It's funny what you think about when you see 27 year old video footage of you and your old friends. I'll force a couple of my thoughts on you just for fun! (Well, fun for me) I wonder what I was talking to Minge about that day in the weight room? I'm certain it wasn't incredibly profound, but he seemed to be smiling about it. Just thinking about all the possibilities of what it could've been has a smile stuck on my face right now! And wow! What was I thinking wearing those too short, home made Jams that I thought were awesome, with a pair of those three quarter height Sebagos? And given my outfit, why in the world would Lisa Jellison (class of '90) allow herself to be video taped walking next to me?! I'm laughing! Chris, you've done a great job with this stuff. Thanks buddy! It's crazy how fast 27 years have gone by. It'll be 2019 real soon. I am absolutely planning on being at that one! Best wishes to any and all that happen upon this very random post!  Fondly, Stephan Scappaticci

It is great to see what everyone has been up to for so long!

Jon Mitchell....aka "Stump" HA! I have told so many people over the past ten years how we all used to call you Stump, and when you walked into our 10 year reunion how you weren't a stump anymore!

comment by Amy (Hart) Cauthen

20 years! Wow! Hard to believe! Can't wait to see everyone!

The high school website has been re-designed and it even has a new URL location. The new location is http://highschool.ortn.edu/. There is also more pictures on it and they have even put up pics of most of the teachers. It made me feel old seeing what our former teachers look like now. Also, as of Nov 20, I am now back on Facebook after serving a 5 month suspension. For details, click here.

I wanted to say hello to those I went to school with at Linden. I moved in 6th grade to Ohio and I recognize so many people on this website that I went to school with at Linden, 25 years ago! It is so good to see everyone on here. This is such a great website! My email-carol.huber@kingthompson.com

Great job managing the website!  I enjoyed the trip through that timewarp.  I'm hoping to make the reunion this time since I didn't make it last time.  I might even add my 20 year thing if I can get off my lazy tail and take some initiative.

comment by Kevin Kryter

This has been a blast from the past. It was great to see all of these great pictures from the past. Don't see to many people who we went to school with, even though I am still in Oak Ridge. It would be great to hear from you all. Merry Christmas.

comment by Robbie Stewart

Jason, as a teacher, I know you don't know how to insert HTML link code so I thought I'd help you out.  Click here for Andy Vance Photo's website. Take care

comment by jason vowell

Hey everybody! Go to Andy Vance's website. All of the pictures are on there. We all looked good and had a blast!!

The reunion isn't really over. It just moved to Facebook, instead. So eveyone get over there and join us. That includes you too Corwin! We can't leave our pres behind and you did want this to be the biggest and best reunion in ORHS history after all, so let's keep it going. On another note, Melanie Klouse Fritz is having surgery tomorrow (7-22-09) at St. Mary's so I ask that all of us pray for her, Eric and their three kids.

comment by Spencer England

I got to the last reunion a bit late, and missed everybody. Maybe I can be to the next one on time.  Somebody remind me!!!

comment by Matt Bowers

Looking forward to seeing everyone and remembering the great times we had at Oak Ridge.  That was a very nice note from Mrs. Benita Albert if you haven't read it... not sure I'd make it through Calculus without the outstanding abilities of a teacher like her.   See Y'all soon.

comment by John (Tom) Hatfield

I am looking for a Nichole Henry Class of 1989 - I found her class ring in an old box recently.  The name is kind of fuzzy - so if you know someone with a similar name please email me at amydavislmt@gmail.com  Thanks

Invitations Update: I just wanted to thank everyone who have verified their contact information with us on my recent round of calls to all of you all. I still have not finished contacting everyone yet, so if you haven't gotton a call from me or an e-mail for that matter, trust me when I say you will. I just haven't gotten to you yet. Chris called me tonight and advised me that the invitations went out on Thursday night, so when I call from now on, I will only need to know whether or not you got yours yet or not. I will restart the calling process on Tuesday evening after 5 P.M. and will go up until about 10 P.M. each night. Take care everyone and I look forward to seeing all of you there.

Just wanted to let everyone know that Chris is hard at work getting the invitations ready to send out. We have several people whose addresses we have not been able to confirm for sending out invitations and we also need to get a good idea of how many people are coming. So, starting Thursday evening, I will be calling and e-mailing everyone in hopes of getting a good idea on how many are going to show up. If anyone would like to confirm their address or RSVP with us before I call you, contact me at 865-686-7748 or robbiestewart2@aim.com

Hey, sorry I missed the last one, I was over in Italy and was a little too busy to make it back.  I left OR 14 1/2 years ago and have only been back 3 times to visit, it's true, you really can never go home again.  I have been jumping around the globe since I was born, currently in my 30th home, and it's the folks back home that keep me grounded, give me a place to be from. There are so many of you that I can't wait to see again, Joe Moore, Nathan Friedman, John L., Amy Davis, Tyrone, Carl Klima, Jimmy Somers, and the list goes on and on and on  Chris thank you so much for keeping us together, to have roots to come back to means so much to a nomad like me.If anyone is heading up to Cincinnati just give me a holler, drinks are on me!
