Michael Scott McGhee, 49, of Oak Ridge, passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Methodist Medical Center. 

He was born May 23, 1971 in Oak Ridge, the son of Dianne Hall and 

Carlos McGhee. 

Michael was a 1989 graduate of Oak Ridge High School. He loved the outdoors and was passionate about fishing, camping, and riding 4-wheelers. He was employed by Eagle Bend Magna as a heavy equipment operator. 

He is survived by his wife Jennifer Boone McGhee. They would have celebrated their 22nd anniversary on June 11th of this year. 

He is also survived by sons, Brady McGhee ad Caleb McGhee of Smithville; and Tyler McGhee and wife Cierra of Rockwood; 

father, Carlos McGhee of Fl; mother, Dianne (Bob Clark) York of Titusville, FL; brothers, Terry McGhee of Oak Ridge; granddaughter, Lyren; and close family friends Ashley Godsey and Melissa “Missy” Kelley, both of Oak Ridge. 

Family and friends will gather on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4 – 6pm at Weatherford Mortuary for a visitation and to share their memories of Michael.
