Cullen Thomas Humphrey, III, 53 passed away after a brief battle with a second cancer. He was a singer, songwriter, actor and IT technician. While attending Oak Ridge High School, he was active in chorus and show choirs. His first acting role was in the O.R.H.S. production of Oklahoma where he played Judd Fry. His voice received critical acclaim and led to more roles, “Kiss Me Kate”, “Babes in Arms”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Pirates of Penzance”. He attended Austin Peay State University and Roane State Community College where he studied music and Criminal Justice. In later years, He worked with Talent Trek Agency and performed in crime reenactments: “Murder by Numbers”, “Murder Comes to Town”, “Snapped: Killer Couples”, “Sins and Secrets” and “Homicide Hunter”. He played several musical instruments and wrote numerous songs, some of which can be found on ReverbNation. Cullen was an avid custom model and prop replica builder, he repaired and rebuilt classic guitars, and he played in several cover bands over the years. He also attended many toy shows as an action figure vendor, dressed in Star Trek Captain movie costume. He loved Cades Cove, the UT Vols, and good food.

Cullen is preceded in death by his Grandparents, Floyd and Ollie Flowers, C.T. and Mary Charles Humphrey and his parents Tom and Jana Humphrey. He leaves behind his sister, Niki Beal, his children Cuylar Preuss, Jahauna Humphrey and C.T. Humphrey, IV. As well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A graveside service will be held October 5, from 1 – 3 pm at Wolf River Cemetery, Pall Mall, TN, and a Celebration of Life at the Oak Ridge High School Class of 1989 Pavilion, 100 Kentucky Ave. Oak Ridge, TN on October 19 at 1 pm.
